Great machine, steep learning curve : Sharp Electronics XEA506 Cash Register with Handheld Scanner (Black)

This machine has worked well for our store after a pretty steep learning curve. I have 1200 products so really wanted to be able to load an excel sheet of product UPC's and item numbers but that was simply not possible. So after several calls to the tech support we ended up scanning each product in one at a time. Now that it is done it works very well. I wish it was a bit more intuitive and had software interface to feed info into the scanner. Also it their software does not work with out Vista 64 bit computer so found a laptop to use with it to run reports. After a wee of using it in the store I am liking it.
